Clients often begin treatment with me when their anxiety or mood have recently worsened. They might notice that their anger gets the best of them, or that they seem to be having a difficult time maintaining healthy relationships. I provide individual therapy for children aged 5 years and older, adolescents, and adults through middle age. My specialties include working with children and adults healing from childhood abuse or trauma, and treating neurodiverse people, including people with child and adult ADHD. I joyfully provide affirming mental healthcare to gender-diverse and queer individuals, and coordinate with affirming medical providers in the community. My work is grounded in liberation psychology. I am an anti-racist and Health at Every Size practitioner with a background in Intuitive Eating. My therapy approach is warm and collaborative. I combine research-supported individual interventions (e.g., cognitive behavior therapy, trauma therapy, and mindfulness and acceptance practices) with a focus on social factors such as family, race, gender, body/weight, and sexual identity, as well as integrating questions that concern most humans, like how to be happy and what it means to live a good life.
