Hi there! I know the world can feel complicated and lonely sometimes. I became a counselor because I want to help people rediscover hope and remind you that you're not alone. I'm glad you're here! It takes a lot of courage to seek out counseling and you took the first step. I offer virtual therapy to adults facing various challenges, including life transitions, parenting, depression, anxiety, and loss. I'm trained in EMDR, and have received additional training in trauma, child development, and perinatal mental health. I have had the unique experience of working with many NICU families and parents of children with chronic medical conditions and food allergies. As a NICU, food allergy, and medical mom I also understand the unique demands of raising a child with ongoing medical needs. Whether you're seeking resources, coping strategies, or emotional support, I would be honored to walk alongside you on this journey. Before I became an LPC I worked in education and foster care, and I continue to work in child welfare, conducting home studies for adoptive and foster families. If you're considering adoption or fostering, I'd be honored to help you process and prepare for the journey, or to support you as you parent the child in your care. I am a Christian and this is a significant part of my personal value system, but I welcome clients from all faith backgrounds. We can integrate Christian principles into our sessions if that is something you desire but regardless of your faith background I’m committed to providing compassionate care tailored to your individual needs.
