Introduction
Hi there! I became a counselor because I genuinely want to help people find hope and remind you that you're not alone in this world. I love working with adults to address the challenges that come with life transitions, depression, anxiety, parenting, parenting preemies and kids with chronic medical conditions, adoption and foster care, grief and loss, multicultural family dynamics, domestic abuse, and many other life circumstances. Whether you're looking for tools or support, I'd be honored to walk this road with you. My background is in education and foster care with refugee youth and I still work in child welfare today. I have received training in trauma, EMDR, and perinatal mental health and have worked in private practice and behavioral health hospital settings to help address depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, abuse, relationship and parenting challenges, and more. I'm a NICU mom and have experienced the challenges of parenting a child with medical needs. I'd love to support those who have kids with developmental delays, chronic medical issues, food allergies, and sensory needs. I'm a Christian and can incorporate Christian principles in session, but I'm honored to work with clients of any faith background.
