Introduction

Hello there! My name is Laura Jacobs, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor here in the Hoosier state. I graduated with my Masters of Counseling in 2016, received full licensure in 2019, and have worked in a variety of capacities in the mental health field since 2009. My undergraduate degree was in Social Work, and I've had experiences providing care for a variety of mental health concerns in a variety of different settings. I primarily specialize in individual and family therapy, as well as parent sessions with and without children/teens present. I offer both telehealth and in person sessions. When I am not counseling, I am teaching undergraduate students about Psychology or Child Welfare, walking my two dogs ("Chiweenies" ie Chihuahua/Dachshund mix), playing my role of favorite Aunt, eating ice cream, or traveling.
