Introduction

"Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality." -Martin Luther King, Jr. I focus on helping you to achieve your maximum potential. Life challenges can lead to unease within our bodies and minds, which prevents us from living a healthy and fulfilling life. My job is to help you navigate those challenges in order to become your best self. I have worked with adolescents and teens managing the challenges of growing up, individuals living with substance use disorder and chronic mental illness, asylum seekers and refugees, and individuals who felt stuck and were unsure of how to proceed. I believe that humor and compassion are the ultimate means of forging human connection, and we all deserve to feel joy and happiness. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and have a Masters in Global Public Health which gives me a unique perspective on mental health and the factors that impact our wellbeing.
