Introduction

Hi, my name is Laura, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Life Coach. My work with client’s is grounded in respect, acceptance and empathy. As a therapist and coach, I believe in showing up with authenticity and kindness. I use an eclectic approach, pulling from my training in many different therapeutic modalities. I also draw from my experience as a meditation guide and yoga instructor, and the wisdom these practices offer. I believe the power of empathetic support should be available to all which is why I also offer coaching! In my 9 years of work in the mental health field, I have worked at all levels of care for those struggling with eating disorders. This has given me vast experience with many different types of mental health concerns including trauma, mood disorders, relationship concerns, and much more. This is due to the fact that eating disorders are quite complex and are often accompanied by other mental health challenges. I believe that struggles with disorder eating, and body image concerns are rampant in our society and that not just those who have a diagnosis deserve to have support to move towards more freedom with food and peace with their bodies.
