Introduction

Hello! I am so happy that you have found my page. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Laura and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I love working with the transitions into parenthood and the way that it changes both the individuals and the couple. I enjoy working with clients to help in any transitions of life issues. My approach is genuine and supportive. I use humor and empathy to build connection and foster change. If you aren’t sure if you and I would be a good fit, contact me and we can talk more about it! When I am not doing therapy or being in therapy myself – if you stick with me you will learn I have no qualms about admitting to how my own therapy led me to being a therapist #endthestigma – I enjoy spending time with my two beautiful and energetic little girls. I love running and yoga and am a cranky beast without them. I am not myself if I am not currently reading something and I love all things fantasy. Much to my embarrassment as an adult woman, I also enjoy a good RPG (for those not super geeky that would be short for role playing video game) as well as some good ol fashioned Mario Kart. I find postpartum and perinatal work deeply rewarding and from my experience - both on the couch and as the therapist - life changing. Be Well!
