Introduction

I believe you are capable of unprecedented growth and healing. I work together with my clients to develop curiosity and compassion for themselves and others; acceptance of feelings, healthy boundaries, and more adaptive and satisfying ways of being in the world. My approach to therapy prioritizes developing an understanding of who you are as an individual, and focusing on your unique strengths and abilities. Past and present experiences, relationships, genetics, biology all impact the way you are in the world, but you have something unique to offer. My clients describe my style as warm and direct. I have worked as a therapist for over 12 years with clients ages 5 through adults. Whether you are interested in learning coping strategies for symptoms, or need to work on a complex relationship with yourself and/or others, I can help. I have specialized training working with clients who are coping with past and present traumas, mood disorders, abuse, neglect, and major life transitions. I frequently work in various creative communities in Chicago, supporting artists, writers, and musicians in their work.
