I believe that with all of the demands and expectations of life, it is important that every person identifies and secures a safe space. What is a safe space exactly, you may ask? A safe space refers to a mental and/or physical environment where an individual or group of people feel secure, protected, and free from harm and/or judgment. Creating a safe place within the therapeutic setting allows those involved to be their authentic self, while gaining comfortability with managing stress, challenging emotions and developing healthy coping skills. As a clinician with over 10 years of experience in serving individuals and communities, I specialize in helping others by utilizing supportive measures that empower them to navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal growth. My practice focuses on treating a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, mood instability, interpersonal conflict, grief and conduct disorders. I am committed to providing a supportive and empathetic environment for every person that enters my space. I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy, tailored to meet each person’s unique needs. My goal is to empower clients to find their strengths, develop resilience, and lead more fulfilling lives. The greatest part of my practice is identifying ways that I can relate with the clients that I serve. I have faced many challenges and hard times in my own life, and I am grateful for the safe spaces that were extended to me when I needed them the most. Due to my own journey, I feel compelled to help others as much as I can. I am excited to join your journey to healing. Reach out today to schedule an appointment and let’s do this together.
