Introduction

I'm an Licensed Professional Counselor (P1608105) with the state of Arkansas. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the field as a case manager assisting clients to meet their therapeutic goals set by their assigned therapist and linking them to needed services. I have worked in an outpatient setting since 2008. I have always believed that the only way we can evoke any type of changes within our lives is to acknowledge them and place those issues on the table in order to fully address them. I have experience working with individuals from age 4 to 75 years of age. I have worked with clients that have many of the following concerns that led them to seek out counseling: depression, anxiety, trauma, impulsive issues, bipolar disorder, family issues etc... I love to meet each client where they are and begin to build on identified strengths throughout the counseling process. I am very interactive with clients and assist in providing insight and support. The approach that I love to use most is cognitive behavioral therapy. I sincerely believe that if an individual begin to mold and change their way of thinking (irrational thoughts) their behaviors change as well.
