Introduction

I am an experienced Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist offering compassionate and practical therapy services for individuals, couples, adolescents and families. I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, self harming behaviors in teens and adults, chronic suicidal thoughts, and trauma related issues. I have also worked as part of a treatment team on behalf of people diagnosed with severe and chronic mental illness. I use a multi-faceted approach, based on what fits you best. You are the director of your treatment. Your goals will dictate what we do together in session. The collaboration between a client and therapist is a great foundation for treatment success. As a licensed therapist, I have formal training in; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Crisis Intervention and de-escalation. I have also been working in the Chico area since 2004 and have lots of professional connections, if you want them!
