Lanya is a New York State licensed Social Worker providing individual and group psychotherapy in-person and online in Manhattan and Brooklyn. In addition to her private practice, she currently works clinically in the department of psychiatry at Mount Sinai West and Morningside Hospitals. She obtained her Masters of Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University and trained at New York Presbyterian and Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. In her private practice Lanya provides psychotherapy drawing from psychodynamic, interpersonal, CBT and DBT modalities. Her style is warm, frank, and attentive to the processes of healing and personal growth. Lanya often works closely with those in the performing and creative arts.
