Hi there - my name is Lanh Durlak. I was born in Vietnam and emigrated to Rochester, NY when I was 4 years-old. That cautiosly skeptical 4 year-old little girl grew up to get her Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester (2014). I have supported and provided therapy to newborns and their families within the foster care system, worked with couples navigating the difficulties of co-parenting, and supported older adults struggling with substance use. With more than 18 years experience working with children and families in some capacity, I have finally come to rest in focusing my clinical work here at FULL CIRCLE MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING SERVICES. I joined the wonderful world of parenthood in April 2022, and have since added another little bundle of joy to our household in January 2024. I am eager and excited to bring my lived experiences as a BIPOC clinician, a parent, and a creator of safe spaces into our therapeutic relationship.
