Introduction

Do you find yourself worrying about your child? You know they have so much potential, but right now, something’s keeping them from realizing it. Maybe you noticed a change in them after a big event, like starting middle or high school, graduating, or transitioning to college. Maybe you can trace it back to a falling out with friends, a change at home, or a loss in the family. Or maybe it just seemingly came out of nowhere. If your teen is struggling, you are in the right place. I specialize in working with anxious and depressed teens. I give them a safe space to learn the skills they need to manage their strong emotions and to cope with the ups and downs of adolescence. As an experienced School Counselor and Professional Counselor, I have a unique window into your child’s world. The pressure of school, friends, relationships, and home. The fear and self-doubt about who they are and who they want to be. I will help your teen quiet the noise. We will recognize their strengths and their ability to make positive choices. My clients and former students describe me as “really, really nice,” easy to talk to, funny, empowering, and helpful. I’m here to help your child learn how to control their thoughts, feelings, and actions. During our work together, they will see that small steps make big changes. Take one of those steps today and reach out to schedule an appointment.
