Introduction

Lana is licensed and board certified creative arts therapist with training in progressive counting (a trauma resolution modality), dialectical behavioral therapy, and therapeutic play. She blends these methods based the individual needs of her clients. Lana's work with her clients is characterized by her humor and playfulness, empathy, and her clam presence. Lana's priority is to provide a space in which her clients feel safe sharing their experiences and exploring their needs. She works collaboratively with her clients to identify what needs to be nurtured and what needs to be shifted in order for them to live their life in a way that feels meaningful and fulfilled. Lana has five years of experience working in an in-patient behavioral health hospital, and five years of clinical experience working in out-patient mental health. Lana works with children, teens, and adults, specializing in emerging adults (late teens to early twenties). Lana also provides art therapy supervision to art therapists working towards their NYS licensure and or national board certification.
