My journey to becoming a mental health provider was driven by a natural desire to serve my community and empower others with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Early on, I recognized the profound impact that mental health has on all aspects of life. Pursuing my degree in Social Work at the University of North Florida solidified my understanding of the complex factors that shape who we are and how we function—some of which are within our control and others that are not. My time in various community and non profit organizations is where my practice would be built on the foundation of adopting a holistic, person-centered approaches, needed to create a safe, non-judgmental space that promotes self-awareness and personal growth. My clients can expect a consultation appointment at no charge to them to determine if I would be a good fit to meet their needs. Services would start off with building rapport, and clearly discussing expectations for a therapeutic relationship. I believe that every client’s journey is unique, and it is important to move at a pace that respects their individual needs and readiness for change. My goal is to support each person in realizing their strengths and navigating their path toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. My clients should understand that therapy is not a one size fits all solution to life's challenges, and be dedicated to doing work both in an outside of our time together.
