Lackey Counseling & Coaching Group was founded by Shairee and Kameeshia Lackey on the belief that every individual possesses the strength and potential to work through their unique situation. This practice aims to help clients discover their potential and learn skills and strategies to achieve goals through empowerment and identification of personal growth conditions. More About Our Co-Founders Shairee Lackey, LCPC, LPC, CCMHC is a multistate licensed mental health provider and behavioral health/integrative care consultant. She is extremely passionate about educational, mental health, and health care equity. She is dedicated to working towards the expansion of integrative and collaborative programs in communities of color and under-resourced areas. Before making a career change into the mental health field, Shairee spent over a decade working with non-profit and for-profit organizations, where she specialized in the areas of administrative consulting and recruitment. She is currently licensed in Illinois, Michigan, Maine, Virginia, and Texas. Additionally, Shairee holds master's degrees in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Clinical Psychopharmacology. Dr. Kameeshia Lackey is a seasoned Industrial and Organizational Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. Currently, she is a consultant in various industries, including management consulting, healthcare, utilities, and adult education. Dr. Lackey is extremely passionate about helping others to always be the best versions of themselves through life coaching and career counseling. Her work provides the necessary building blocks to promote effective self-care for better overall well-being. Additionally, she is an avid researcher and has conducted research on the identification of common leadership attributes required to lead and retain highly skilled multi-generational global workforces effectively. At the moment, Dr. Lackey's focus has been on exploring cyberpsychology and its impacts on the future workforce. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior with a minor in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership.
