I am a psychotherapist based in New York City and Beacon, NY, with extensive experience working in diverse mental health settings. Before starting my private practice, I supported individuals affected by physical and sexual abuse at a clinic in Brooklyn, helped youth in East Harlem navigate mental health challenges, and treated adults with eating disorders at an outpatient practice in Chelsea. I work with clients from all backgrounds—adults of every age, gender, race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. My goal is to create a space where you can explore every aspect of your life. I believe that maintaining continual curiosity about oneself is essential for healing and navigating life's challenges. My educational background includes a journalism degree from the University of Colorado and a Master of Social Work from Hunter College. Currently, I am pursuing advanced training in psychoanalysis at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. I use an eclectic approach, adapting various psychological theories to meet the unique needs of each individual. Additionally, I offer EMDR therapy, a technique that releases trauma from the nervous system and reorganizes somatic, emotional, and cognitive experiences into more adaptive patterns. If you're interested in working together, please contact me to schedule an initial consultation. I offer in-person sessions in New York City and Beacon, NY, as well as virtual therapy across New York State.
