I am excited to be invited into your life! My journey into mental health started at the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota where I completed bachelor's degrees in Theology and Fine Art. From there, I started a rock band and toured much of the US & Canada. After playing music, I found myself in a graduate program at Emporia State University in Kansas where I completed a master's degree in both Clinical Counseling and Art Therapy as well as a certification in Autism. I started out in private practice work right away and eventually started my own company, Richards Counseling & Consulting! I work with people of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in Christian Counseling, art therapy, walk-and-talk therapy, and online counseling. I specialize in pre-marital/marriage counseling, teen issues, depression, anxiety, trauma (TF-CBT certified), anger management, and life adjustments (grief, divorce, moving, job changes, etc.). Licensed in both Iowa & South Dakota. Visit my website at www.richardscc.org for more information!
