Hi, My name is Kyera K McCrimmon. I graduated from North Carolina State University with my M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December of 2023, and I am honored that you’re here. We all navigate life in our own unique ways. My mission is to offer you a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself, discover new perspectives, and foster personal growth in your life. I am committed to providing therapy to individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual identity, or socioeconomic status. Rooted in my counseling practice is a dedication to creating a safe and affirming space that encourages individuals to be their truest selves. As a therapist, I often am privileged to gain valuable insights and lessons from my clients’ resilience and unique life experiences. You might ask yourself, “what can she learn from me”? By embarking on your personal therapeutic journey, you might just discover the answers to those questions. I am deeply passionate about assisting adolescents and teens between the ages of 6-17 who are grappling with anxiety, depression, and emotional concerns. I have a talent for establishing connections with children, which helps me to foster positive changes in their lives through therapy. Topics of interest include assisting parents of children on the Autism Spectrum, and children experiencing emotional dysregulation as a result of trauma, the foster care system, and adoption. Most of all, I enjoy working with individuals of all ages who are navigating life’s challenges unique to them: managing anxiety, depression, exploring personal identity and values, processing grief and loss, relationship concerns, and more. Understanding that therapy takes courage and openness, I assure you that as your therapist, I'll support you, honor your pace, and help you unlock your natural ability to heal and grow. My in-person sessions are offered at my office in Cary, NC. 110 Iowa Lane Suite 104, Cary, NC 27511
