Introduction

If you’re feeling lost, not in control of your own life, or like the world around you isn’t safe – let’s talk about finally feeling good about yourself. I am a passionate advocate for my clients and help them take up more space in their own lives. My lived experience as a queer transgender woman of color informs my work as a therapist to create supportive and affirming spaces for my clients. My style of therapy is focused on growth through raising awareness and understanding, finding and strengthening the skills we had but didn’t know we were using, and shifting how we see ourselves and our world so that we can make our life make more sense. In sessions with me you can expect a conversational approach type of talk therapy where we work at your pace while building and reinforcing your foundation for long term change. My methods have a strong focus on authenticity, we identify what’s significant to you and set boundaries to remain true to those values. To support this, we build awareness of your emotions to use a guide when it’s difficult to know where to go in life. Clients have worked with me on feeling more connected with their lives, navigating relationships, and breaking the cycles of generational trauma. My clients choose me because they’re looking for a competent and caring mental health professional who works together with them, without judgement, and engages them through genuine encouragement, humor, and direct feedback.
