Krystal, Emily, and Brittney are here to help you, your child, and your teen improve and become happier and healthier. All have worked with the children, teens, and adults of the families of the Greater New Orleans area for many years. They provide individual, group, social skills, parenting, and family therapy. Additionally, our team is well-versed in working with area schools to collaborate and ensure consistency between the clinic, home, and school environments. We look forward to helping you and your family reach your individual goals. In-School Services: We provide counseling services in a select number of area schools when the therapeutic goals are appropriate to the environment. Please let us know during the intake if you are interested in your child receiving services in school. Scheduling: For your first screening appointment (to ensure we can meet your needs/goals): 1. Please "request an appointment" (a free 15-minute telehealth session) with Brittney, Emily, or Dr. Vaughn to briefly discuss your concerns to determine if you would like to proceed with a full intake appointment, if so...... 2. We will then provide you with information on services and clinicians available to offer said services. 3. The office staff will work with you to schedule a full intake session. After the intake, an appointment for you, your child, or your family may be scheduled. Insurance: We do not accept insurance nor do we have an insurance specialist on staff. As the practice is not in network with insurance companies and do not submit insurance claims. We are able to provide you with a "superbill" which may allow you to submit for reimbursement under your insurance plan. Depending on your current health insurance provider plan, full or partial reimbursement may be possible. We recommend contacting your provider and asking these questions: Does my plan include out of network mental health benefits? Do I have a deductible, if so, how much have I met? Does my plan limit the number of counseling sessions in a plan year? Does my plan allow these services to be conducted at my child's school (only select schools allow this)? Does my plan allow for telehealth sessions, if so are there limitations or specialty codes required? How do I submit a "superbill" for reimbursement? Social Skills Group: Social Skills Groups are offered year round on a rolling basis for more information, please email or call. https://sites.google.com/vaughntherapeuticcollective.com/vaughntherapeuticcollective/home/faqs
