I have a passion for working with people who want help learning how to find balance in their lives, whatever that means for the individual. I grew up in a Caribbean-American household where my grandparents encouraged family & friends to visit, relax, and be themselves. I want the patients I work with to feel that welcome. I approach therapeutic work with warmth and compassion. In a nonjudgmental, safe, and supportive environment we'll explore your challenges, your successes, and develop strategies together to work towards your goals. I use a combination of techniques such as motivational interviewing, person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths based approaches tailored to your needs. I have experience working with people who are having difficulty managing anxiety and/or depression, PTSD in addition to work, family, and relationship stressors.
