Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing psychotherapy in Bay City, TX. I work with adults and couples with a variety of concerns and diagnoses. Phase of life adjustments, anxiety, depression, relationships, sexuality and developmental traumas are the most frequent, but not the only concerns I address with clients in my practice. In addition to my graduate and licensing education, I have completed and continue to participate in ongoing trainings in many aspects of counseling with an emphasis on experiential dreamwork, body oriented psychotherapies, sexuality and relationships. My work is informed by theories and methods such as psychodynamic, emotion focused, humanistic/existential, interpersonal, brain based and body mind therapies. I commit to my own ongoing psychotherapy in the methods I use as well as experiential psychotherapy groups and trainings. This ongoing experience and training helps me to be fully present, compassionate and understanding of how people can make the changes they desire. In the first few sessions we will talk about what brought you in, review your history and explore your awareness about what has affected you most in life.
