Kristine D. Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Mississippi, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a National Certified School Counselor (NCSC). She received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from William Carey University, her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Secondary Education, Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Biology from USM. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselor’s Association (MLPCA) and the Mississippi Counseling Association (MCA). Kristine has 13 years of counseling experience and 26 years of experience in education. Her treatment methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on how thoughts affect behavior; Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, which focuses on acceptance, grounding and being in the present; and eclectically drawing from other methods as needed. Kristine's goal is to include the client in developing a treatment plan and mode of therapy to meet their individual needs.
