Hello. I delight in helping intimate partners/couples whose angry, anxious, depressed, and/or shut down parts are in ongoing conflict, adults ready to heal their traumatized parts, those wanting IFS coaching for practical skills, and the queer community -- of which I am a member. I also like working with clients whose parts are preparing for or are in ketamine treatment, and clients wanting IFS coaching for practical life skills. And I very much enjoy helping organizational business leaders who need support in resolving their individual and team conflicts. After working with me, you will be better able to notice and 'be with' your parts (such noticing and dialoging inside to help a tense and anxious part of yourself), rather than 'being' your parts (such as remaining or becoming even more tense and anxious). You are then able to react less -- and to respond more -- with calm, confidence, clarity, compassion, courage, connection, curiosity, and creativity. I am IFS Institute trained in Level 1, Level 2, & Level 3, as well as IFIO (the intimate partners/couples version of IFS), Nonviolent Communication, I have completed postdoctoral coursework at the C. G. Jung Institute in NYC, and I have served as an IFS Level 1 Program Assistant to help other therapists learn IFS. A little about me. I'm an able-bodied cisgender white person, I am working to be more conscious of my privilege, and to use it to help make the world better for everyone. My ancestors came to the United States from Europe and the Middle East. I identify as a woman, a feminist, a lesbian and a queer person, someone who is now situated in the middle class, and who became a parent in midlife. I live on the sacred, yet unceded, land of the Quinnipiac people in New Haven, CT, US. I am working to better understand the marginalizations of others, and I hope to be considered an ally. In addition to work, I'm fond of being with family and friends, wheeling around on with my bicycle, foraging for black licorice, and devouring detective novels. For individuals, the full rate is $165 rate for 45 minutes. I offer a financial hardship sliding scale rate of $150, yet I do ask you please consider paying what you can so others are able to benefit from the sliding scale as well. For couples, the full rate is $230 rate for 45 minutes. I offer a financial hardship sliding scale rate of $200, yet I do ask you please consider paying what you can so others are able to benefit from the sliding scale as well. For organizations, my fee is tailored to your needs. In our initial session, I will be determining your needs to see if and how I can help. If we aren't able to work together, a directory of other IFS therapists and IFS practitioners is available at: https://ifs-institute.com/practitioners
