NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Please email kristina@centralaustinpsychotherapy.com Hello! I’m a multi-cultural, bilingual (English/Español), caring and trauma-sensitive therapist. I'm passionate about neurobiology and the mind-body connection, and I have experience using this integrated approach with adults going through grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship struggles. I find it especially fulfilling to work with people living with disabilities, chronic illness and/or chronic pain. I know first-hand how challenging it can be to sustain a loss of health, and I consider it a privilege to support you in the many ways this may be impacting your life. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and based on your individual needs; combining experiential processing with practical skills for sustained change. I strive to always hold a safe and inclusive space: my practice is Neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ affirming, and rooted in anti-oppressive frameworks including Anti-Racism, Body Liberation, and Disability Justice. Whether emotional, physical, or both: your pain is 100% real, it matters, and it carries important information. I would love to work with you to help you heal. Please don't hesitate to email me with any questions, or to schedule a free 30 min phone consultation with me.
