Baby steps are still steps. That is my motto throughout the therapeutic process. Sometimes in therapy healing can take time. So, when we only see small movements (or small steps) we might think we aren't making the progress we want and expect. However, we tend to forget the small steps we take in between to get to that full step we want. Again, baby steps are still steps! Celebrate your progress no matter what 'size' that step may be. I work with a variety of individuals, and some couples, on a multitude of concerns. I have a special interest in working individuals who struggle with binge-eating and disordered eating. I approach this work from an Intuitive Eating, CBT, and Person-Centered lenses. I am here to help when you are ready! I also want you to feel comfortable with me as your potential therapist.
