Introduction

My education and training focus on supporting those with religious trauma, primarily those from high-control religious groups, high-demand groups, and cults. I support those who may be struggling with their family of origin's faith and experiencing minimal or no contact due to leaving their faith. I offer supportive therapy for you as an individual or for family reconciliation. Additionally, I have education and training in providing affirming therapy to neurodivergent clients, couples, and families. I am a proponent of the neurodivergent model, which holds neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, etc.) as part of the natural spectrum of human diversity. In addition, I offer affirming and supportive therapy to those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you would like a solutions-based approach focusing on short-term solutions to your symptoms or taking a deep dive into your past to understand the present better, each client’s treatment is uniquely conceptualized. Feel free to reach out to see if my style of therapy is a good fit for you. I am actively working on becoming a provider for CenCal insurance, but I am not in the network yet. I provide a superbill for out-of-network clients and help with reimbursement. Please reach out with any questions, and I am happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable. Kristina is an alumni of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Kristina is a third-year doctoral student working towards her PsyD in Counseling Psychology.
