I am dedicated to meeting patients where they are on their mental health journey, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all. I understand the importance of respecting individual experiences and cultures in every aspect of care. I have a special appreciation for individuals with substance use disorders, and their families. I am passionate about the science behind addiction and the community found in recovery. Additionally, I am an advocate for the mental health of nurses, first responders, and healthcare professionals in a post-pandemic era, having first-hand understanding of the unique challenges they face. My approach bridges the gap between physical and mental health and well-being. I incorporate education, medication management, psychotherapeutic modalities, and lifestyle modifications in my practice. I value a collaborative relationship with my patients, ensuring they feel empowered to use their voice and advocate for themselves. I have 15 years of acute healthcare experience, primarily in critical care. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Purdue and am a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.
