The focus of what I offer is to invite and empower you to practice trusting the wisdom of your body. By doing this, a more secure and trusting relationship with yourself can begin to develop. With practice, this can help you to navigate stressors and aid you in trauma recovery. A person generally finds relief, compassion, and an empowered sense of self from this process. I practice from a somatic (body-listening) approach. Together we begin naming and recognizing your nervous system states, develop safety resources along with resilience and self-regulation skills, notice internal sensations to more listen and attend to your needs, and hold space for your body to complete natural somatic stress release cycles.
