Introduction

Starting counseling with a new therapist is a big decision, so good job getting to this point! I truly hope you match up with the right person for you. I know the search can be daunting! I believe in the healing power of connection, vulnerability, and relationship. I primarily utilize Adlerian, Acceptance & Commitment, Narrative, and Mindfulness theories and techniques as means to connect with and aid my clients. From teenagers through retirees, I enjoy working with people as they navigate life stages and reimagine their personal identities. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from George Fox University and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands. I am a Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) for the State of Oregon, and I have 25 years of experience in the field, primarily working in non-profit organizations, schools, and private practice. I have lived in the Portland area my entire life and have a great passion for Northwest living. I love the outdoors - hiking, camping, and exploring. I am a faithful fan of the Trail Blazers and enjoy watching sports of almost any kind.
