Introduction

Dr. Kristen Suing (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Director of The Center for Testing at Konick and Associates. Dr. Suing earned her masters and doctoral degrees from the Michigan School of Psychology and she completed her early training in integrated healthcare centers and medical residency programs. She has worked with patients in a wide variety of treatment levels including traditional outpatient practices, partial hospitalization programs, and psychiatric and medical hospitals. She has expertise in the evaluation and treatment of a range of psychological and behavioral problems in children, adolescents and adults. Within the context of psychological evaluations, Dr. Suing strives to understand the patient as a person first and foremost, attempting to emphasize areas where they experience success and evaluating the impact of their biopsychosocial environment on daily functioning and symptom presentation. It is only at this point that Dr. Suing, the patient, and their support system can collaboratively develop strategies to minimize the impact of their areas of concern and improve their quality of life. Dr. Suing looks forward to helping families develop a deeper understanding of themselves and integrate into their community systems.
