Sometimes life is hard. It is ok to ask for help. In fact, doing so is an act of courage! So often in life we feel disconnected, alone, anxious, and afraid. Therapy is a place to begin facing these difficulties. When we bring our pain and suffering into the light we have the chance to heal. I work collaboratively with my clients to face their issues and get in touch with the best version of themselves. Change and growth are possible. In therapy you will be accepted and supported during your journey. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Psychology and a specialization in Counseling. I have worked with adults, couples, children, adolescents, and groups. I have experience working with a variety of populations, including people with mental health related conditions, addiction issues, emotional disturbance, at-risk youth, LGBTQ+, minority groups, women, men, and gender nonconforming folx. I use an integrative approach to treatment because each person is unique and will require something different. I utilize several theories and approaches to therapy including: attachment, somatic, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, parts work, motivational interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma informed, and art therapy interventions.
