After earning my Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 2012, I began working in the field of addiction. I realized many of my clients struggled with mental health challenges and trauma. I then chose to continue my education, earning my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I believe that treating the whole person as an individual is vital to successful treatment outcomes. Over the course of my career, I have worked with all different types of people and it is in my experience that mental health and addiction does not discriminate. I understand the importance of meeting the person where they are. I have significant experience with addressing unhealthy behavioral challenges, anger management, addiction, depression, anxiety and adjusting to life after change. My approach is to use Client Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR to allow for a comfortable and safe setting while working to change the thinking errors that may be contributing to negative outcomes in one’s personal life. At this time, the population worked with is adults 18 to 64 years of age. *** ASK ABOUT STUDENT INTERN*** Coming soon student intern. Will work with children ages 13 and older.
