Kristen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults and their families in a variety of contexts. Kristen values connecting with individuals and families to build a strong therapeutic foundation to increase effectiveness of therapy and assisting individuals to set achievable goals in order to help them develop autonomy. Kristen utilizes CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, and Talk Therapy practices. She also incorporates play therapy and art therapy into work with children and adolescents. Kristen earned her Master's Degree in Social Work as well as her BS in Psychology from The University of Alabama. She served on the South Central Mental Health Board of Directors. She maintains clinical licensure in Georgia and Alabama.
