Introduction

Krista Jones, Owner & Psychotherapist of Holistic Journey Counseling, has 8 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adults, and families who have experienced trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and addiction. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Ohio University in 2019 and has been licensed by the Counselor, Social Worker & MFT Board since 2018. Krista is currently working on her certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). Krista has worked with a variety of age groups and populations of need, but particularly focuses on adults who have experienced complex trauma within their lifetime. Offering a variety of holistic approaches and therapeutic strategies relating to multiple theoretical frameworks, she strives to make each clients counseling experience individualized and tailored specifically to their healing journey goals. Krista holds a strong value in spending time with those she loves and enjoys engaging in activities outdoors and through creative forms of expression. She values the dignity and worth of all individuals, as well as the importance of respecting clients self determination.
