Introduction

Hi! I'm Krista, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. If postpartum feels hard, if pregnancy is harder than you thought, if you're trying to conceive or if you feel distant from your partner now that you're parents- you are not alone. Relationships, the perinatal season, and parenting are hard- I know from personal and professional experience. Because of this, I believe that these parts of our life should not be done alone. I offer couples therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy. I support individuals and couples from preconception to postpartum to parenting; I intimately understand the complexities of the postpartum experience and would be honored to hold your story closely. I approach therapy with a trauma-informed lens and know that you are the expert on your own experience. We'll talk about ways that your early relationships affect your current relationships- and the ways in which we can bring healing to those old wounds. This is a space where you get to show up exactly as you are on any given day and I will meet you there. I hope to help you navigate your unique world, connect deeper with your loved ones, and help to facilitate peace within all the parts of yourself. When I'm not holding space for clients, I like to exercise, do yoga, read, and spend time belly laughing with my friends and family. Reach out if you think we'd be a good fit- I'll be so glad to hear from you!
