Korinne received her Master’s in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in June of 2023. Korinne has several years of experience in the mental health field working in community, correctional, and hospital settings. She loves helping children, adolescents, and young adults who struggle with a wide range of mental illnesses such as mood, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Korinne is specifically passionate about working with individuals who have a history of trauma and are experiencing trauma-related symptoms. She practices therapy from a trauma-informed lens to ensure a person’s life experiences are validated throughout treatment. Korinne engages in a non-judgmental, empathetic therapy approach as she values the relationship with her clients. She believes the therapeutic relationship can help create safety and trust within the client, allowing them to live up to their full potential in all aspects of their life. Korinne helps clients establish their goals, develop healthy ways to cope to trauma and stressors, and increase their overall well-being. Although Korinne loves her work, she also enjoys spending time with family and friends, cuddling with her dog (Puggles), traveling, reading, and doing puzzles. A fun fact about Korinne is that she has older triplet brothers who bring her lots of laughter and joy. She believes surrounding yourself with positive relationships is the key to finding fulfillment in one’s life. Korinne wants to help others achieve this fulfillment in their lives by providing them with guidance and support to reach their goals.
