Introduction

At Kinship Counseling Collective, we understand that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable and challenging experience. That's why we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for our clients, where they feel heard, understood, and valued. We believe that each individual has a unique cultural identity and background that shapes their experiences and perspectives. We are driven by our commitment to offer culturally responsive and anti-oppressive therapy to our clients, empowering all of us to challenge and resist oppressive systems and work towards social justice. We believe that therapy should be a collaborative and creative process, where our therapists work together with their clients to identify the best approach for their needs. Our therapists are trained in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma centered approaches, relational psychodynamic therapy, expressive arts techniques and mindfulness-based therapy. We encourage our therapists to use various techniques and interventions to meet the needs of their clients, tailoring their approach to meet the unique needs of each client. We recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and our therapists work to create a space where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. Our therapists are committed to building strong and authentic relationships with their clients, providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their concerns and work towards healing and growth. As a therapy group practice, we maintain professionalism in all aspects of our operations, adhering to ethical guidelines and standards of practice, and maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients. We believe in continuous learning and development, and we encourage our therapists to engage in ongoing training and education to ensure they are providing the best possible care to their clients. We are honored to be a part of our clients' journey towards healing and growth, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
