Kimberly Fritel My interest in mental health began in my late teens when a friend of mine was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I knew I wanted to help others struggling with mental health after I was impacted by a loved one who completed suicide. My work experience has varied greatly over the years. I have enjoyed working with individuals in need of community crisis intervention, traditional outpatient therapy services, holding a directors position at a local counseling program, and helping professionals move towards full licensure within the field. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) committed to helping you learn how to live a happier, healthier life-whatever that means to you. Together, my clients and I work to address the ways their presenting problem impacts their daily life. I believe in meeting you where you are at in the process to help you reach your goals. I’m passionate about helping you live life to your fullest. I strive to help others gain insight into their feelings and learn ways to confidently cope with the uncomfortable things life throws at you. Some modalities I utilize are Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I provide individual counseling for ages 12 and up and PCIT for children at least 2.5 years old. I've provided services to emergency responders (officers, paramedics and fire fighters) since 2017. I am a LPCC supervisor and am currently taking new supervisees. If you think we will be a good fit, please send an appointment request.
