Hi! I'm Kim Endres! Welcome to Summit Hill Zen Mind Psychotherapy! I am so happy that you have decided to invest in YOU! I am passionate about supporting my clients in reaching their best selves and building a life worth living. My approach to psychotherapy is based largely on our shared humanity. Each of us have inherent wisdom, validity and goodness. It is natural to have difficult moments and painful emotions sometimes. I strive to bring a non-judgmental, compassionate and kindhearted approach into my clinical work. I truly believe, and the research data supports, that building a trusting relationship between client and therapist can be the key ingredient to making psychotherapy a profound healing experience. Away from work, I love being with my family including my Dobermans. I love gardening, live music and and all things Mid Century Modern. I have a daily meditation practice and attend a Zen meditation retreat in the Arizona desert annually. Mindfulness is deeply embedded in my life. Therapy requires vulnerability and beyond our comfort zone is where true change happens. I feel grateful for my clients and welcome the opportunity to walk beside you on your own path to wellbeing, acceptance and emotional health. Some of the approaches I have extensive training in are: Dialectical Behavior Therapy DBT Prolonged Exposure for PTSD Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Radically Open DBT My Credentials : Master of Social Work, 2003 Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, 1992 Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, State of Minnesota, May 2005, #16550 Supervisor for MN SW and BBHT Boards
