Introduction

Life is challenging. We all need support at times. You don’t have to do it alone. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and addictions specialist (LCAS) specializing in supporting individuals through life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma. As a former Olympic athlete, chaplain, and spiritual advisor, I recognize that physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social needs all contribute to our wellbeing and ability to move towards our goals. I am passionate about helping people live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. I particularly enjoy working with those who are on a journey of self-discovery; learning to listen to and follow their own sense of truth, rather than what their culture, society, family or religious backgrounds is telling them they “should be”. I am strengths-based and client-centered in my approach, meeting individuals where they are in their journeys and letting them move at a pace that is right for them. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can try on new ideas and be okay making mistakes as you learn to embody a more authentic and genuine life. To schedule a free 15 minute consultation, click “Request Appointment” or call 828-222-3578. I look forward to hearing from you!
