Introduction

My experience includes working with a variety of populations who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues and phase of life challenges. I've completed advanced training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and have experience supporting women and couples coping with pregnancy and postpartum depression/anxiety, pregnancy loss and the transition to parenthood. In addition, I work with professionals who are dealing with compassion fatigue. Health care workers, therapists, first responders, and counselors often experience vicarious or secondary trauma. Compassion fatigue can affect the most dedicated workers and can lead to total exhaustion of one's mental and physical state. Taking care of your own needs increases your ability to aid others. Once you have decided to reach out for support, you have begun your healing journey.
