Introduction

You’ve been called weird, quirky, or eccentric. You struggle to complete tasks at work or school on time, often have outbursts followed by bouts of guilt, and feel like others don't truly understand you. You're questioning yourself, your friends, family, and career. You feel overwhelmed and unmotivated. Everyone else appears to have everything figured out. You’re tired and yearning for a massive change. Hi! I’m Kim and I’m passionate about helping neurodivergent queer folks who are struggling with burnout. I aim to support you on your journey toward inner peace and self acceptance. I became a counselor to provide the support I desperately needed when feeling most alone in life. Through my own experiences, I've navigated neurodivergence, diagnosed with ADHD later in life, depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual identity exploration, and liberation from substance dependence. I've also been closely connected to individuals struggling with substance use as a partner, child, and friend. Furthermore, I hold extensive training as a licensed mental health professional. I maintain dual independent clinical licensure as a mental health counselor (LCPC) and alcohol and drug addiction counselor (LCADC) in Nevada, as well as an LMHC license in Washington. With a background spanning 10 years, I've supported diverse individuals in residential and inpatient treatment settings, IOP, and drug court programs. I'm eager to connect with you and discuss how I can support you in living your best life. By clicking the Request Appointment button above, you can select a convenient day and time for a free initial consultation, typically lasting around 15 minutes. During this phone call, we'll explore your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and payment options. If we determine a good fit, I'll send you paperwork via email to proceed with scheduling. Together, we'll devise a personalized master plan to liberate you from the cycle of destructive patterns and guide you toward embracing your authentic self. Your treatment will be tailored to celebrate your uniqueness. No cookie cutter, BS therapy found here! With my compassionate support using the latest proven techniques, you can expect relief from stress, improved self-trust and love, and enhanced communication skills for the workplace and healthier connections with loved ones. I understand that building trust takes time, and it's normal to feel hesitant about starting therapy. Feel free to reach out via email or text if you have any questions about the process or my approach. I'm continuously learning to better assist my clients in processing and letting go of what no longer serves them. You don't have to remain stuck in destructive patterns or feel alone. It's never too late to live the life you've always imagined. Together, we'll create an actionable plan that empowers you to move forward confidently. With therapy, happiness and wholeness are within reach—I believe in you, and I'm here whenever you're ready.
