Kim Morochnick Herrera is a bilingual licensed mental health therapist. She has experience working with all ages including children, adolescents, young adults, college students, middle-aged men and women, parents and seniors. Kim has had great results with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, all forms of abuse, life transitions, "Empty Nest" syndrome, gender identity, relationships, immigration challenges, self-esteem, parenting and with teachers. Kim is empathetic, non-judgmental, and able to see things from varied perspectives. She works hard to establish a trusting relationship with her clients to foster an environment where clients feel comfortable, safe and able to express themselves freely. She uses a variety of approaches including Person Centered, CBT, Art and Play Therapy, Engaged Listening, Nutritional Integration and a holistic approach by considering the Realms of Wellness. She follows her clients' lead, allowing them to process their feelings, gain insight, feel heard, learn new perspectives and coping strategies. Her overall goal is to help people improve their quality of life. In her free time, Kim enjoys pottery, being with friends and family, arts and crafts, waling close to nature, board games, learning new things, watching foreign movies and snorkeling. Kim has lived and traveled extensively which has prepared her to be culturally sensitive and educated.
