Specifically with children and youth I have experience in Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, parent-child conflict, trauma/abuse/neglect, anger management, and behavior management. Most of my adult practice includes: Christian/faith based, sexual trauma, trauma/PTSD, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship/family issues, marital counseling, parenting struggles, and substance addiction, Autism/Developmental Disabilities, self esteem/self confidence, body image, intimacy concerns and infidelity. * Please note, at this time, I am focusing my practice on adults ages 18+. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker for the state of Ohio. For 23 years, I have dedicated myself in the profession of helping others. I was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania where I graduated with my Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Misericordia University and my Masters Degree in Social Work from Marywood University. I relocated with my family to Columbus, Ohio 7 years ago. For my self care practice, I participate in yoga classes and attend church on a regular basis. Most of my time is spent with my husband and three children. Volunteering is an important part of who I am. My role as a Volunteer Resource Coordinator for a local community organization, serves those who find themselves homeless in the Columbus Area. I gather and collect items and food to be distributed at the respite center. Lastly, I take great pride in being an Autism Advocate because of my work as a professional, as well as knowing individuals in my personal life on the Autism Spectrum. "Be strong and courageous.
