I love the opportunity to walk beside my clients as they work through this journey of healing and restoration. I love getting to hold both the beauty and pain of life with someone until they are ready and able to hold it all on their own. Getting to encourage them as they move towards their feelings, work through their pain, and emerge into life that is full, embodied, and reawakened. The clients I work with have a wide array of life experience, and often the reason that brought them in for counseling leads to something else. My clients all joined me when they were ready to ask the bold question: what if it didn't have to be this way? Generally we work together through their anxiety, eating disorder recovery, body image, grief, stress, people pleasing, life transitions, self worth, religious trauma, family or relationship conflicts, depression, and/or finding a sense of self. I work from what we call a narrative, person centered, and trauma informed approach. In that process it’s important to me to incorporate embodiment and mindfulness work in order to help you access the present moment with depth and fullness. I utilize evidence based practices while allowing space for your therapy to be what you need it to be.
