Introduction

Hello, my name is Kevin and I am a White, Gay, Cisgender Man who uses He/Him/His Pronouns. I believe it is not only important but purposeful to state my intersecting identities as every part of each of us will present in various ways and balances of power based on where, when, and who we are surrounded by. One of my “jobs” as your therapist is to provide you with the space and opportunity to fully bloom into your identities and most actualized self. While you may be initially seeking therapy to treat depression, anxiety, or trauma, helping you feel better and self-explore are never mutually exclusive. I utilize several evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), to name a few. Ultimately, I tailor my approaches to fit the clients I am working with, as every challenge a person faces is truly unique to their experiences and self. I am a champion and fierce advocate of self-compassion and kindness. More often than not, we are never encouraged to take up space, be selfish, and to say no when we need the reprieve. You already possess the ability and capacity to be your own advocate and champion, but together, we can navigate through your challenges and have your goals drive your progress.
