Kerry enjoys helping her clients live more in alignment with their goals and values. She focuses on eating disorders and young adults who have recently realized they are Autistic or ADHD. She also works with families to improve their communication and engage with each other more effectively. She works from a fat positive, Health At Every Size (HAES) informed, LGBTQ+ inclusive perspective and welcomes incorporating clients’ faith into therapy when they desire. She believes that the process of therapy is as individual and unique each person. She is deeply curious about what your life experience has been. Her therapeutic approach is holistic and eclectic, using various treatment modalities and techniques to help each individual explore the thoughts, beliefs, and ways in which they relate to themselves, the world and others. She frequently uses Brainspotting (a neuropsychological therapy that taps into subconscious brain to reprocess deeply held trauma and negative core beliefs) and Internal Family Systems (parts work). She also incorporates elements of attachment based therapies, body based therapies, and cognitive behavioral therapies. Her goal is that each individual feels heard, seen and understood in a non-judgmental, caring and compassionate therapeutic relationship so they can access their most authentic version of themselves.
