I have lived the devastation of grief and loss and have seen the aftermath its wake leaves on a family. I know that an experience like this frequently brings people into a crisis of faith and questioning God. I know how the events that have happened to us (especially in the growing up years) are imprinted in our minds and bodies and have a strong impact on how we function in the world today, even if we are unaware of the connection.
